- Labs if needed — ordered when clinically useful (men's baseline often Total T, CBC, PSA; women’s first month includes a more extensive panel; the clinician orders markers needed for the patient’s history and goals and customizes medication and dosing).
- Plan discussion — if treatment is appropriate, review options, pricing path, and follow-up. If not appropriate, you should hear that clearly.
- Fulfillment routing (soft) — depending on the plan, medication may ship from a compounding pharmacy or you may fill a brand prescription at a retail/specialty pharmacy. Your care team explains your route after a plan is approved.
